config not recognized if not running through steam.

Hello! When I set hollow_knight.exe in the config file and I open it outside of steam for some reason does not work.
that is weird, steam shouldn't have to do anything with that. The program reads the process name as shown in the task manager. Can you check if the process name is any different when launched on its own/through steam? Also maybe it launches with admin rights somehow, then socd cleaner might not be able to access it
I actually thought the same thing. They’re exactly the same. It’s super weird.
hmm, this might be a premission issue if steam somehow launches the game as admin, or maybe some bug. I'm planning to rewrite the whole thing, will make sure to add more logs
