Home page uses dark background?

As many typographers would say, display type first on white background with dark text as the text weights are optically different with dark background. Some type designers offer custom variants that can use the optical adjustment for dark backgrounds.

IMHO, the home page should be white background with dark text. Perhaps if users want to check how the font would appear on dark background, we can add that option. Default to dark seems to be against the grain so to speak.

Open for thoughts and discussion, especially around why it was changed to Dark? I recall it was white when I first learned about Public Sans. I couldn't find any PRs or issues discussing this change.

Note that all other pages are correctly rendered with white package, only the homage page is affected.
