Custom Resolution not Working

I added 1920x1200 resolution in the custom menu, but even after saving and rebooting multiple times, it didn't show up. I am using macOS Big Sur 11.1 on the Mac m1 chip.

Also for the popup shown below to verify the user password, it appears twice, again after you already verified the password once.

Same issue, same platform. Added custom resolution, no change

Same issue here. I use a M1 MacBook Pro on Big Sur 11.2.3 and AOC AGON AG352UCG6 34 inch screen. The added custom resolutions don't show up.

Same for me, M1 MacBook Pro 13 2020, Big Sur 11.2.3 with a DELL U2718Q 4K screen. Custom resolutions don't appear.

I faced the same issue on Mac M1. Have you managed to find a solution and change the resolution of the external monitor?

same issue on mac mini m1, the resolution is not added

I can confirm the same issue using Mac book pro m1 pro 14'
