Problem skipping the configuration of the Github token

This happens on the initial version of the extension

After you first install the extension and start it, you will be prompted to input your GITHUB_TOKEN.

The prompt says: "Press 'Enter' to confirm your input or 'Escape' to cancel"

Trying to press 'Escape' closes the prompt briefly, but then it reappears.
The prompt is blocked on the screen until you input a Github token.
