Files to remove from On_boot_script/podman/Pi-Hole before f/w upgrade and NSPAWN?

I am currently running Pi-Hole on a UDM Pro SE (using On-boot-script and podman). I will be upgrading the UDM SE firmware from 2.4.15 (current) to 3.0.20 and reinstalling Pi-Hole with the NSPAWN interactive tool. Will the firmware upgrade automatically wipe out everything from the On-boot-script modifications, or is there an uninstall/deletion step I need to be aware of?
EDIT: I recommend backing up the UDM Pro, factory resetting, restore it back, and then proceeding with NSPAWN. I encountered glitches with the Unifi upgrade, forcing a recovery.
