Picom border resizing

in MATE 1.26, Marco released the following new change:
"Finally added invisible resize borders. No more struggling to find a border to grab with your mouse!"
Is there a way to enable to same behaviour with Picom? I'm finding re-sizing windows with a mouse/touchpad to be difficult with Picom enabled.
