Hey I'd like to contribute to this repo, I have a few small sample React Native apps I can provide as converted samples to typescript.
adding you @simistern ! please feel free to start small, i need to learn as i go too

adding you! as you can see its kinda dormant right now. but i do intend to start getting more active in RN in the near future.
Looks like it would make sense to convert the examples to functional components. Or at least provide both examples.
