Not sure if you're aware of the issue, but when I follow someone it doesn't actually follow them you refresh the page or leave app and come back it shows you aren't following them at all

Not sure if you're aware of the issue, but when I follow someone it doesn't actually follow them you refresh the page or leave app and come back it shows you aren't following them at all, which is incredibly frustrating. Is this a known issue?
