Pheromone "expiration" / limited lifespan

Great work!
I actually did implement a very similar simulation during my engineering studies and one feature we had which changed greatly how the ants move is to actually have a limited lifespan for the pheromones so that they disappear totally at some point. That way, erratic ways will soon be discarded and no longer followed. No need neither for the "no food" pheromone.
It seems you implemented some kind of lifespan for the pheromone but they are slow to diminish and never disappear completely.
I think having a limited lifespan for all the pheromones is actually more real and interesting.
I just wanted to share this for your consideration.
