Images do not open reliably across terminals

Hi,
The ctrl+click to open images do not work reliably across terminals. I'm able to open images this way with kitty and gnome-terminal. But it does not work on qterminal or deepin-terminal.
When you press ctrl and click on the image, the message gets selected and that's it.
