Metronome Led

I would like to ask you if you know there is some way to blink a led with the metronome tempo of the DAW.

Depends on how the DAW sends the tempo over MIDI. Does it use MIDI clock messages, MIDI time code, or custom messages?

I am using Ableton , i think it use MIDI time code... not sure

i thought i could solve it with NoteLed function in a high note like C 8 and creating a clip. but i cant make it work ,
