bucky own statistics

Hello,
I'm quite new to statsd world and behaviour, but it seems to me that etsy's statsd send metrics about is own behaviour to Graphite, in the 'stats_counts' namespace.
It seems that I'm not receiving this metrics from my bucky instance, is there any posibility to activate this behaviour?

I'm also interested in gathering stats from bucky's collectd server and carbon client. We could perhaps implement stats reporting in a generic way that can be used by all bucky's subsystems.
I agree.
Not sure when I have time to work on this and I also have some speed improvements on my wishlist. Happy to support anybody that is willing to work on this.
