Now that we have a VFO mode and #51 is closed, it would be nice to have a feature for identifying the center frequencies of transmitters. Close this issue when such an applet exists.

  • Works quickly, so that a sustained transmission is not necessary.
  • Accurately identifies the center frequencies of FM transmitters.
  • Optionally, also identifies the center frequencies of TDMA digital transmitters, such as DMR and P25.

Pushed an initial implementation that works for narrowband FM transmitters. I'll add some improvements before closing this issue.
