Request: permanent swap partition on USB

Request for feature
Having permanent swap on USB stick would let hard disks sleep as much as
possible. Swap area on a hard disk will wake it up when random page retrieval
occurs.
Combined with vm.swappiness = 0 in /etc/sysctl.conf should keep page writes to
minimum and not straing USB stick too much with write operations.

I will add a "Allow swapping on USB devices" option under Disk Utilities.

I flashed DNS-323 A1 with Alt-F 0.1RC2. I cannot find said option. Was this
dropped in the meantime?

No, it will be available for RC3. You can *try*, not flash, the latest RC3
snapshots, look in the forum for "experimental RC3"
