Dropbear error added to system log when connecting via ssh

opening this issue so the problem doesn't get forgotten about :-)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log into the NAS using ssh
2. View the system log
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Dropbear adds an entry to the system log stating that it cannot find the file
"/var/log/wtmp". The full log line is:
Feb 26 10:06:36 DNS-323 authpriv.warn dropbear[2611]: wtmp_write: problem
writing /var/log/wtmp: No such file or directory
What Alt-F version are you using? Have you flashed it? What is the box hardware
revision level? A1, B1 or C1?
