Its reasonable to assume that this is licensed the same way as the rest of the software, but I would like to confirm this is MIT licensed.
Yes, it's MIT (I have to update it). I want perform some changes, my plan is to create OP into the Electron with same funcionallity. This way solves a lot of problems. I want to start next month.
