Zygisk enabled prevents Nexus 5 to boot

Device: Nexus 5 (hammerhead)
Android version: 10
Magisk version name: Canary
Magisk version code: 27001 (cannot update to latest Canary version due to messages "Unable to patch ramdisk" + "Installation failed")

I want to report a very strange bug I've been experiencing for over a year.

If I enable Zygisk on my Nexus 5 and restart the device, it gets stuck in a bootloop unless it is connected to a charger or PC. Disabling Zygisk allows the device to boot up correctly every time, whether it's connected to a charger/PC or not.

I have no idea how to collect logs in this case, because if I connect the device to the computer or charger, it gets past the boot animation stage.

So, I always need to have a cable and charger/PC handy whenever I restart my device.

Do you have any idea why this might be happening? I can even record this weird behavior with another phone, but I'm not sure if that would be very helpful in resolving this bug. 🤔

no way to fix an old version. if you cannot use the latest canary, you should file an issue on it instead.
