Device: Realme 9 Pro RMX3472
Android version: 12.0
Magisk version name: 27
Magisk version code: 27002

I am using Realme 9 Pro running Android 12.
Magisk grants root access but file manager apps say that it can't mount as RW.

I patched the boot image with Magisk and flashed it through fastboot and ran the fastboot flash --disable-verity --disable-verification vbmeta vbmeta.img command but root just doesn't work.

I also tried an older version of Magisk but same issues. What am I missing?

You mean it can't be rooted?

EROFS cannot be mounted as read-write. It's not a Magisk's problem.

I know. But most phones use this file system these days. How does magisk work with it? What phone brands are good with magisk? I would like to buy a phone that can be rooted properly.
