Is there anyway of customizing the header to use a different color and text/logo?

I don't think it's a feature I'd include in the library, to be honest. The usefulness seems to be aesthetic rather than functional, and providing a config API to customize the style of the dashboard would make the library more complex.

Of course, I'm happy to accept PRs with generic improvements and fixes to the CSS, HTML and JS of the dashboard, provided that they're not drastic changes. In other words, if you want to propose a significant change, it would be better to open an issue to check if it would be acceptable before doing the work.

I would ask you why you need it, and if it's worth to fork the repo just to customize the look of the web dashboard. By running a fork, you accept the overhead of manually merging in updates and bugfixes from upstream, for example.
