Isues with Firefox

I just switched from chrome to Firefox (macOS), and I noticed two problems that only arise with Firefox.
First, the sidebar accordion navigation pane always has all folders open, and it is not possible to close them (see image)
Secondly, on my site, I have noticed that latex equations do not render with mathjax.
It is possible that the default content blocking settings are interfering with something, but it doens't appear to be possible to turn this off.
