Tomboy in KDEneon

I jumped through many hoops, but I finally got tomboy to run and sync under KDE. I'm still stuck with a problem though. When I start the tomboy binary, I get following messages:

borders don't fit within the image

I can solve the Breeze error by selecting Adwaita as GTK theme, but I do not get any tomboy window. I get the small system tray icon, but cannot get it to open.

I just solved it myself by looking at the .desktop file. you need to add '--search' to get the window.
