Mac OS: 13.2.1 (22D68)
I followed steps here:
#20
- Icon is in menu bar
- Icon has the "cancel" 🚫 overlay
- Either with a default app (Spotify) or with defaults deleted as in the above steps
The behavior is as follows:
NoTunes Config | Spotify Closed | Spotify Open |
---|---|---|
No default app | Pressing play does nothing, but repeated presses eventually opens Music | Pressing play does nothing, and eventually opens Music, unless one first manually starts Spotify with the space key or clicking Play |
Spotify default app | Pressing play opens spotify, but repeated presses do not stat music and eventually Music starts | Pressing play does nothing, and eventually opens Music, unless one first manually starts Spotify with the space key or clicking Play |

Is there anyone using Ventura for whom this isn't a problem? It'd be helpful for passersby to know whether noTunes is worth trying out or not.

Hi @jakeonrails a new version has been pushed to the repo if you'd like to give it a go (Homebrew version coming shortly). Please let me know how you get on.
