Automatic deployment of web files to webserver

If not on push to github, then on nightly if not more regularly. Some way of automatically triggering a deploy would be cool.

Since we're automating all the things, we should use our TeamCity + Octopus deployment pipeline. I'm happy to get people started, then we can share the knowledge :)

Plenty of azure hosting around to do this from quickly as well.

fishbowl.tattstech.com anyone? ;)

I don't suppose either @mrgeoffrich or @ShawInnes would mind looking into automatic deployments since you guys have had experience in this? :) Once it's running in IIS then we can do stuff with WebAPI too which I think will be crucial for the health checks.

Easy stuff :)

I'll look into this on Monday - @tomSawkins was keen to learn about the automation process, anyone else who's keen let me know and we can block out some time in the afternoon.

Cool, count me in too please Shaw. :)

As soon as I can work out how we can access GitHub from the build server ill book some time to demo this awesomeness.

Closing this out - since we have azure hosting working now I don't think we'll bother internal infrastructure with this any longer.
