Expected behavior

Proton-GE shows up under the Proton section of Steam in Game Sources or the Compatibility Layer section in individual game properties window.

Actual behavior

Proton-GE does not show up under the Proton section of Steam in Game Sources or the Compatibility Layer section in individual game properties window.

Steps to reproduce

Go to properties
Check Compatibility section
Not there
Click 3 dots at the top right
Steam
Proton
Not there

Version and environment
PASTE VERSION INFO HERE

    Distro: Arch Linux

Note:

I saw another issue like this, but I have Steam installed and Proton-GE is in ~/.steam/steam/compatibilitytools.d. I am also able to successfully use it on Steam and Heroic.
