streamdeck dies after few seconds

The streamdeck applicaiton crashes after a few seconds WITHOUT any stacktrace, and a "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

** How to reproduce **
Installl the application from Ubuntu repository, launch it from a terminal. After a while I'm greeted by "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

Suggestion on how to get more information about the crash are welcome!

The application starts and works

Operating system (please complete the following information)

  • OS: Ubuntu Lunar, Linux sequoia 6.2.0-20-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Apr 6 07:48:48 UTC 2023 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
  • Desktop environment: Gnome
  • Python version: Python 3.11.2

  • Standard i suppose, serial AL42K2C55921

Which version of the application are you running? You might not have all the needed bits to get a meaningful stack trace if the issue lies within Qt, where it is most likely. The default distribution strips the debug data because it can easily multiply the binary size and make everything much slower.

Let's start by making sure you're in the latest application version and your Ubuntu is fully updated. After that, restart and try again. Let's see if you get the same results.
