changing tab makes the BPM drop

Not sure what's going on there, probably an angular/Chrome/JS issue but changing tab while the beat is playing makes the BPM drop to something super low.
I noticed this myself. I suspect this is related to Chrome throttling resources given to inactive tabs.
yes, I checked with this pure JS implementation created by Damien (our latest JS team member) http://www.damieno.com/test/Splice/ and it suffers from the same issue.
