Looks like I broke connecting to a host via IP with f00d06d#diff-bb5b384de9b8925149ba92c821f417c02507f4fcfb61227c0e6930ed6bbe6bf9
I'll revert that commit and do some testing to check for side-effects
According to the ChangeLog, I fixed this. Remembering such a thing or is therefore rendered irrelevant
