Feature Request:

Support for in app updates where it doesn't require to download a dmg and replace the Applications/BatteryBoi when there's an update, but updates in the background and reopens batteryboi when update is finished.

@thebarbican19 Many thanks for making this, huge improvement over the default MacOS feature!

Hey @sereneinserenade, two reasons for this...

  1. I do not have a very good knowledge of the Sparkle update framework... yet. I could use some pointers on how to better implement this in the app, or better yet, have someone cover this part of development.
  2. This app requires my full-time attention and the only way I can continue to work on this is if enough people donate to support the development and right now the only way I can steer people toward contributing is via the manual download.

I will keep this issue open as I do want to add this properly but until I can 1 fix (with help) this and 2 bring in more donations this will have to stay as it is.
