I'm in Windows 7 with Chrome and chrome as it disabled as it is not from their won store and it is not possible to activate it.

Is your developer option 'ON' ?

Yes developer mode is on.

I use chrome in Ubuntu. It got no issues like this. I believe chrome has made some upgrades to block apps that are not downloaded from chrome store. I'll check the issue with Windows PC and will definitely give you an update on this issue itself. Meantime we can keep the issue open
