Unable to detect Android

seems unable to pass #5 on the android installation.
Downloaded the latest version from the installation guide.
flashed the image "deploy-sd.img" to SD card using Balena
Insert the sd card to the Pai connect micrHDMI to HDMI to display, connect USB A to C on pc, and connect mouse USB wireless to Pai.
Plug power and I get no signal on my display
On the USB on the PC I see "Unknown USB device(Port reset failed)"
Pai 4 8GB, SD card 32GB.
Cable issues. Ignore.
