Installation process is currently manual. (I hope to add this to MELPA soon)
git clone https://github.com/teju85/cmdlogger-el
;; add this in your .emacs file
(add-to-list 'load-path /path/to/cmdlogger-el)
Kindly note that the file 'cmdlogger/main-file' contains everything you have typed while inside the emacs session. So, it's generally NOT a good idea to share it with others! If you plan to do, it will be at your own risk.
Include the following lines in your .emacs
file:
(require 'cmdlogger)
(cmdlogger-mode t)
To disable this mode temporarily in your session:
(cmdlogger-mode nil)
;; do you secret-stuff here!
(cmdlogger-mode t)
Use customize
to figure out variables that can be customized.
There's a very simple analysis script which just summarizes the entire history of keys/cmds stored so far. It needs quite a bit of polishing, but for now this should be a good start.
./analyze.py /path/to/your/keys.txt Summarizer
