Log Listener inside ide

I think could be useful to add an argument that log the content of the listener directly inside the idea/editor each user is using.
In my case I setup pycharm to completely avoid the use of the max listener.
I made a pull request...If you think it is not useful no problem ,or if you think I should improve it in some way ,I'll modify it
I really like this idea. I've made comments on the pull request inline in the comments on that particular pull request.
