Email verification code input does not work with iOS autofill

Describe the bug
It only fills in a single box/digit, if it works at all.
Reproducing the bug
Login with passcode on an iOS17 iPhone where the email account used for logging in is configured in the Mail app.

Also, does the input have the autocomplete="one-time-code" property set?
