Doesn't show up in macOS 10.12

Likewise. No widget appears in the notification centre and since most people nowadays use 10.12, this bug renders this application useless. Uninstalling, as the developer seems to have abandoned it.
Works fine for me in 10.12
Nice, there may be hope still, I'll do some more research and find out more.
Like @lucymhdavies I can confirm this is working for me in 10.12. Try the new 1.1.6 release.
