Auto select address bar on new tab

Currently when creating a new tab (ctrl+t), no field is selected for the user to write on (i'm using ArchLinux crusta-1.4.3.1-1)
I think it is less fluid if you have to manually select a field and then write address or search string.
Or maybe it is a bug ?
