Perhaps, when available, it should be possible to hint the specific time a future episode will be available

Ah yes, I guess it might just be necessary to standardize the behavior of dates in the future.
This is a pretty good idea. I would like to expand on this and suggest that it be considered a "schedule". For example if you release every Monday-Friday by 10am, that would be extremely useful for podcast directories like Blubrry's to know to pull the RSS feed on or after that day/time to update the directory and subscriptions.
A "schedule" tag would need to allow multiple subtags, for the semiweekly podcasts.
