This is mentioned in #241

Do you need scss-variables in generated scss? Just like this message if you really need this. I personally didn't think so but if many people want it - why not. Or you can you simply create new PR with suggested changes.

TBH I never used them, we only use svg-sprite in symbol mode https://github.com/twbs/icons/blob/main/svg-sprite.json
