after compiling and installing patch all in game bindings were wrong
eg
Building = d (normally b)
Designations = . (normally d)
Look = Shift+F1 (normally k)
After removing patch and converting all pngs to bmps problem went away
Pretty sure you are using an old commit. I regularly import the code if it changes and all key bindings with it. Update the Repo and try again.
