Port over tests from storage-js so features don't break.

A set of tests written in pytest which cover all cases

@J0 Is this still something that needs to be done as I've looked at the tests we have in this repo and they seem to cover a lot of the functionalities already.

Oh probably not anymore, I think this was created before @anand2312 added the test suite.
