Custom Strongswan VPN with PiHole DNS

Hi Guys,

In step 24 of the Hardened-Strongswan setup guide the DNS is configured.
Has anybody tried to set up the Strongswan VPN and using the PiHole DNS as it's DNS server?

Just looked at their website, an intriguing project.. will hopefully give it a try myself someday.

I think it'd work if you install PiHole on the same server where StrongSwan lives then just set STRONGSWAN_DNS_NAMESERVERS=localhost:53

Let us know how it goes (if you go ahead with this approach) :)

Update: found this guide on their site, it seems to combine setting both OpenVPN & PiHole so you'll have to only follow one set of instructions.

@BennetGom Close the issue as I am not planning on implementing PiHole in the near future, but perhaps this (interesting) conversion could be pursued in discussions.
