[feature request] - Search by any field and upload image

First of all thank you for this plugin.
I'm sought for Inventory SW and all of them are big with horrifying interface, so I looked at redmine plugin and found your's one and another old one:

I was not able to install old plugin, but I installed equipment_status_viewer on RM 2.2.0 with success:

It could be fine to make possibility to search equipment by any field. For example we have something with bar- or qr-code, we scan S/N with barcode reader and find a device in the list for further action with it.
Another feature: create warehouses or location not as field (like description, etc, but like group) or make possibility to sort or look equipment by location
And finally it would be great to upload image to look in future what that equipment is and how it looks.

These are excellent features. However, The intent of this plugin was to be rather specific. The reason is that I have future plans to build a different inventory system in the future. I think I would like to incorporate your feature requests when I am able to. I don't see myself having much time to do much with that any time soon. Sorry.
