Strangely, this works just fine in isolation: https://jsfiddle.net/h3bw930s/1/ however if we use the JSON version of the MATL documentation it does not https://jsfiddle.net/rhzcas0h/1/
It definitely has to do with <
needing to be replaced by <
; however, it's strange that I can't reproduce it outside of the MATL docs.
