Estimating Frobenius-Perron Operator by Density Estimation Methods

In these files, we demonstrate the estimation of the Frobenius-Perron operator for the logistic map example using the following methods:

  1. RunnerHist.m: Histogram density estimation
  2. RunnerKDE.m: Kernel density estimation

We also provide an analysis of the mean squared error upper bound for the logistic map example in the RunnerUBanalysis.m file.

Usage

  1. Run RunnerHist.m or RunnerKDE.m to estimate the Frobenius-Perron operator using the respective method.
  2. Run RunnerUBanalysis.m to analyze the mean squared error upper bound for the logistic map example.
