Copy from wikipedia and paste into text element works.

BUT: Copy an existing paragraph (from the Composer) and pasting into a new text element causes all spaces (" ") to be replaced with nonbreaking spaces ( ) in the result.

@vectorsize Can you confirm this behavior on the surface level?

This seems to work fine within the same instance of the surface, perhaps it's only between different surface instances? We need to look at this closer, I can do some tests with several instantiated surfaces...we will see then what's happening.
