Describe the solution you'd like
An option to toggle whether launching/starting up goes to full screen or not.
What about keeping the same size as when shut down the last time?

Or that as well, its just annoying when it goes to full screen every time I first start it up.
+1 for both a config-toggle for fullscreen vs "normal" -- no application should ever start maximized by default; the user should have full control over this thru configuration settings.
+1 for remembering current window size (and possibly position) at exit/quit.
These are "usual, typical and expected" windows settings for any GUI application.
