Edit with emacs doesn't seem to work in Tumblr's Markdown Editor

oneself opened this issue · comments

Hi,

I would like to use edit with emacs to edit text in tumblr's markdown text editor, however, this does not seem to work. I can launch the extension from the editor, but the buffer is empty. It also does not apply the text correctly back in the text area, clearing it instead.

I understand that tumblr's markdown editor is probably not a plain old textarea, since it seems to have syntax highlighting. Is there any way to add support for this? Editing my blog using emacs without having to cut & paste would be amazing.

Thank you for the amazing extension. I use it every day.

Have you got an example URL for the editor I can look at?

Hi, thank you for responding,

How can I produce an example URL?

I need an example URL to a page with the editor so I can see what is going on.
