Be able to read-in word lists with UTF-16 characters?

Tidy v 0.3.7 gave lots of errors when attempting to read-in this large Portuguese wordlist. I think it's because some of the characters are not UTF-8. If Tidy could read-in UTF-16... maybe it'd be better suited for Portuguese (and other languages). Not sure how to go about fixing that easily...
