Hi,
bumped into this project coming from LHLS blog post from THEOPlayer and noticed the begging for a FOSS player. Found a post implementing the ideas from Periscope on top of HLS.js:

Yeah I saw that. Very cool. I've been leaning towards doing low latency DASH though (with HLS fallback) for the next version so that I can do VP9 as well. Not sure.
