Setup instructions in IntelliJ

@lhazlewood, @nbarbettini mentioned you had to do some additional set up in IntelliJ to get things to work. Could you please share them? I tried importing this as a maven project, and it's not detecting what to run.
It's probably worth putting together a wiki in Confluence to describe the setup steps here.
I can assist with this, if you give me till the end of the week :)
Even if just a link to docs about what we're using & how stuff works in Java would be nice =]
