The SAM MOD player version sounds out of tune on the tone slides.

I can no longer hear what the problem is.

A more obvious problem is with Jogeir Liljedahl's Physical Presence, but that cannot be helped.
Tempo is 140 BPM, so frames are being skipped to keep up.
Song entry 0x12 (pattern 0x10) channel 4 is first executing a portamento down (1) with value 4 followed by a portamento up (2) with the same value. If each row took the same number of frames, this would leave the note back on what it was. But the 140 BPM results in the two commands being executed a different number of frames, and so the pitch is left at something awful.
